Delegations

This year, we’re introducing a new aspect Worker Cooperative National Conference — Delegations. We’re utilizing a delegations model to ensure that this year’s national conference is packed with worker cooperatives and strong allies in this rapidly growing worker cooperative movement, and to create opportunities for collaboration, relationship, and strategy. Delegations help to organize specific groups (alike in interests, region, or industry) within the movement to attend and meet-up the conference. For instance, cooperatives with immigrant worker-owners; child care worker-owners; or cooperators from a particular place, like Philadelphia.

How will this work?

The organizing team of the WCNC is striving to create platforms for people to engage with, and we can take care of logistics.

  • We will provide Delegations with information, digital materials, and social posts to promote and engage with the conference. We will ask that delegations share information with their networks in order to ensure good representation.
  • We will create opportunities for delegations to hear about the conference planning, share feedback with the team, and get information on logistics.
  • For delegations of 5 or more people, each participant will be eligible for individual registration at a rate of 20% off the full price ($280 per person)
